Your home is your castle, even when it’s a high-rise apartment.
Don’t settle for anything but the best when you decorate your home. Take a lesson from the experts at the 19th Annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), the singular showcase for cutting-edge design. More than 600 exhibitors will display contemporary furniture, lighting, wall coverings, carpet and flooring, and accessories at the Javits Convention Center, but it’s only open to the public on Tuesday, May 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Form may follow function, but there’s nothing utilitarian about the designs from OCHRE (booth 2504A). Imagine yourself lounging on the Snooze Sofa ($9938), a throne of sensual comfort that fits any decor. Paired with the Daxie Ottoman ($3813) and Light Drizzle Chandelier ($3250), it sets the stage for intimacy in your living room.
Another local designer showcased at ICFF is Adam Frank (booth 105). His "Reveal" is an ingenious blend of art and ambient light that will transform any space. It can be placed on a shelf or mounted directly to a wall or ceiling, creating the illusion of a sunlit window – perfect for a light-deprived Manhattan apartment. The first edition of 1000 limited and signed “copies” will be sold exclusively at adamfrank.com for $360. There’s already a waiting list, so you’ll have to hurry to catch the sun.
Don't miss these designers, and hundreds more, at the ICFF next Tuesday.
